Ground Zero

Ground Zero

So here we are, a 24x18 shop, open rafters, Hodgepodge bench, and shelving space with completely no sense to it all, unbearable in summer and unreasonable in winter! we had a lot of work to do. I had no other choice, I had to establish a small and efficient work area so I could churn out orders. So, I had to figure out a way to make the most of what I had and start somewhere. We had some work to do and some tools to layer in, I won't lie, overwhelming is the only way I could describe it.

Pictured below is how it was when we moved in!

I had to completely gut the shop, repair the walls, close in the ceiling, insulate what i could, add in some cooling and rebuild all of my bench space to be as efficient as possible, easy right? well no, not really when you work 60+ hour a week job co-managing the highest volume big box retail facility in any direction for over 100 miles. I went on to spend the next three months burning the candle at both ends, sleeping maybe a few hours a night at best, grinding social media, rebuilding the shop, and filling orders as they started to pour in. There was no turning back now. I did not even allow myself to quit; it was full send from day one!

What a process!!!!
